The open standard of the non-threaded bottom bracket of the BB-30 brings 3 basic advantages – improved strength of this part of the frame, higher durability of the oversized sockets (with an internal diameter of 30 mm), and decreased weight of cranks using an integrated duralumin alloy axle.
