There are 3 possibilities for four-bar rear wheel suspension – a bar placed above the axle of the rear wheel, a bar on the chain stay under the wheel axle, or a bar directly in the wheel axle. We use four-bar rear wheel suspension with a bar above the rear wheel axle in full-suspension DEMA bicycles with either carbon or aluminum alloy frames. This suspension system boasts several advantages, including excellent firmness of the rear construction and trajectory of the rear construction moving along a circle.

This technology offers the possibility to use heat processed 3D frame endings with interesting shapes. Their advantage, compared to milled endings, is the increased strength of the material.

Cr-Mo is steel alloyed with chrome and molybdenum. Alloying elements in steel provide increased strength at a lower weight.. Frames made from this material are strong, durable, and relatively light.

The technology of eccentrically shaped chain stays is used in full-suspension DEMA frames in which the right chain stay is placed lower than the left one.

This threaded bottom bracket technology is used in both carbon and duralumin frames. All DEMA frames using this technology feature a 68 mm wide bottom bracket housing with a BSA thread (1.370 x 24 tpi)

The advantage of a tapered headtube is that it allows for greater bearing surface and stiffness of a 1.5“ steerer and lower bearing surface while reducing weight and allowing the use of conventional 1 1/8“ threadless stems.
