Bicycles with inner cable routing are more elegant because cabling does not interfere with the silhouette of the frame. But esthetic reasons were not the only ones to lead designers to this technological solution. Cabling is protected from dirt this way and thus provides more reliable functionality, especially in muddy conditions.

This threaded bottom bracket technology is used in both carbon and duralumin frames. All DEMA frames using this technology feature a 68 mm wide bottom bracket housing with a BSA thread (1.370 x 24 tpi)

The advantage of a tapered headtube is that it allows for greater bearing surface and stiffness of a 1.5“ steerer and lower bearing surface while reducing weight and allowing the use of conventional 1 1/8“ threadless stems.
